INKS FOR HANDMADE PAPER

With inks for handmade paper this can be when you can come into some difficulty as some inks can bleed out.Normally metallic inks you wont have many issues with but you need to ensure its properly mixed when using it and you may need to re mix throughout the process. If you are using a black or matte coloured ink a lot of these are mixed with water which can cause it to bleed out onto the paper. We recommend mixing your own colour. To do this we use gouche paints mixed with gum arabic and then if it needs a tiny bit of water to make it a little thinner. Be very careful not to add to much though as this will cause it to bleed. You can find my recommended items on my amazon list.
