When it comes to designing invitations i know it can be difficult at first to know which sizes are best to use for each piece in your invitation suite. We have put together this guide to help you

In your invitations there are a few pieces that you can include;

- Main Invitation

- Details Card

- Rsvp Card

- Menu Card

- Map Card

MAIN INVITATION CARD

5x7 inches 127 x 177.8 mm There is a lot of debate on the best size for this card, deciding between A5 & 5x7 inches. In our opinion the 5x7 option is the best as A5 can be a little too large for a invitation card.This is why all the handmade paper and envelopes we sell are to fit 5x7 inches.

DETAILS CARD

A6 105 X 148MM For the details card we recommend the A6 option. This allows for the design of the main invite to show through when you stack your invitations. This can limit the amount of wording you can include on this card but remember you dont want it to be too wordy.Just include the essentials;

Full address ( if its not already on the invite)

Children - if you are allowing them

Gifting - link to your gift list of a short poem if you'd like to be gifted money instead.

Transport - if your providing any and a local taxi number can be helpful

Room details - if rooms are blocked out at the venue for guest, details on how to book these.

Wedding website - if you have one

RSVP CARD

4 Bar 80 X 120MM For the RSVP Card we recommend the 4 bar size.What to include;

Names - A section for them to input their names

Rsvp Date - When you need them to RSVP by

Menu Options - If you are giving your guests the options to select their meals you need to include a section for them to input this

Dietary Requirements - A section for them to include their dietary requirements.

MENU CARD

Menu 160 x 70 mm ( the width can be adjusted but ensure it is not longer than your main invite) If your guests are able to select their menu options its handy to include a menu.

A big thing with this is to ensure its not bigger than the main invitation, otherwise it wont fit in the envelope.
